Unfound Love

 Unfound Love

Resting my head On the pillow

Looking on the other side of the bed

Do I know,

Imagine you, staring lovingly in the eyes

Running my fingers on your pillow

Just to find out, that there's no buldge

Do I ask myself

Is it love or is she just hanging around?

Sitting across in the library,

Intertwining our feet

Until our eyes meet

To make our hearts beat at the same tempo

Do I ask myself then,

Is it love or is she just a placebo

On those tirey picnic days

When it was time to climb in the bus's back

Did you sleep resting your head on my shoulder

Do I ask myself then,

Is it love or is she just an admirer

Then finally carrying the Sisyphus's stone

And resting it on my heart

Did I gather the courage

To get the words to depart

But wasn't enough able to start

So wrote a letter and waited for your reply...

Later did it come

But not alone

For I held your daughter

In my arms and tears in my eyes

For I was happy to find out

That you found out love

But I do still ask myself,

Was it love that lost

Or was it love that I wasn't able to find.....

Pressed Love

 Pressed Love

The rose of mine

That you hid in your favourite book

I retrieved it

Though has it wilted due to the dry paper

For it's not a flower

But a bush

That's evergreen

And with your smile

Does it bloom.....

The Game Called Love

The Game called Love

Tossing and Turning

On the bed covered with rose petals

But all of them acted as thorns

For the thought of you not picking up the call

Rode me out of my mind

Rehearsing and Preparing

For what and what not to say

To just strike a balance of humour and closure

But all that did was left fissures in my heart

For memories took me right back to the past

Stuck in there now,

The times when life was easy but not complicated

For complicated were the days and nights to follow

Filled with turmoil and just a grim aroma of life

Making memories irrespective of good and bad in rife

Buzzes my alarm now

To remind me that it's morning

A morning that holds something new

Something more than yesterday could offer

So brace for impact before you plunge in this game called love....

A meeting  Coincidental, was it destiny? I don't know ... For life we swore  To be together Did we see the future? I don't know .....
